Week 7 Term 3

Kia ora and welcome to our Room 10 blog for Week 7.
We have been looking at the collage art work of Eric Carle and making our own Eric Carle style tuatara that will be put together to make one large tesellating art work next week.

In social skills this week we tried out a new way of sharing ideas by using a doughnut talking circle to talk about being kind to others.
We also saw lots of individual creativity shining through this week in work both from home and school.

Throughout the week excitement in Kowhai classes had been building in anticipation of our trip to Natureland on Friday. It was well worth the wait and a great way to apply our learning about animals in the classroom to the real thing...or things! Catch a glimpse of some of what we got up to in this slide show.
